Falokun-Oja Community Commissions Modern Palace, Sues For More Developmental Projects

National President of Falokun-Oja Descendants Progressive Union in Ifelodun local government of Kwara State, Alhaji Tajudeen Gbola Yahya has assured that the union will continue to work for the community’s unity and economic progress.
Alhaj Yahya who is also the Elemoso of Falokun-Oja stated this in a statement signed by the national secretary of Falokun-Oja community, Mr Fatai Afolabi during the official commissioning of the Falokun-Oja palace and chieftaincy coronation ceremony held recently in the town.
The President, who appreciated the attendance and generous donation of the invited well-wishers said the union would continue to appeal to well-to-do indigenes of the community to establish at least one industry or the other with a view to contributing their quotas to its economic development.
In his address of welcome at the ceremony, Chairman of the event, Alhaji Aileru Soliu, the Asiwaju of Falokun-Oja insisted that all hands must be on deck at rebuilding the economy of the community.
He added that everything must be done to ensure that indigenes of Falokun-Oja are not relegated in the scheme of things as he charged the Union to do everything humanly possible in encouraging well-to-do indigenes to establish viable industries
Also speaking at the event, an honourable member of the Kwara state house of assembly representing Omupo constituency who is also an indigene of Falokun-Oja, Barrister AbdulGaniyu Afolabi Salaudeen, commanded the union and other special guests of honour for contributing meaningfully in one way or other towards the success of the occasions
While showing appreciation on behalf of His Royal highness of Falokun-Oja, Oba Aliu Bolakale Kadir, the event planning committee sincerely appreciated God for making the ceremony very successful and remarkable.
The committee particularly appreciated the all the Royal Fathers present such as Elese of Igbaja, Oludofian of Idofian, Alatanda of Atanda, all the Baales, Mogajis, Chief Imam of Falokun-Oja community, Pastors and other Clerics for their presence and support.
Also, appreciation was sent to all the newly installed Chief such as Alhaji Aileru Dare Soliu as Asiwaju of Falokun-Oja, Honorable Gbenga Oyekunle Power as Amuludun of Falokun-Oja, Alhaji AbdulRasheed Femi Yusuf as Ilufemiloye Bobaselu Of Falokun-Oja, Alhaji Dr. Kolawole Tajudeen as Akinrogun of Falokun-Oja, Honorable Maryam Yusuf Aladi, member, Kwara state house of assembly as Yeye Amuludun, Alhaja Tawakalitu Mojisola Salaudeen as Yeye Otunba Falokun-Oja, Alhja Saadat Funmi-Ola Qadir as Yeye Bobaselu of Falokun-Oja, Alhaji Issa AbdulRahman as Babalaje of Falokun-Oja, Alhaji Issa Raimi as Gbobaniyi of Falokun-Oja, Alhaja Aminat Anike Jidelola as Yeye Gbobaniyi of Falokun-Oja, Chief Kamaldeen Abdulkareem as Olori Odo of Falokun-Oja among others.
