Babanla Community Calls For Rescue As Kidnapping Incident Occurs Almost Everyday

People of Babanla community and other surrounding villages in Ifelodun local government area of Kwara State have called on government and security agencies to as a matter of urgency come to their aide to ameliorate the spate of kidnapping incident in the area.
The traditional ruler of Babanla community, His Royal Highness, Oba Aliu Alabi Yusuf who made the call on behalf of the entire communities said the call became necessary due to multiple kidnapping incidents in the area.
The latest incident of kidnapping occurred again in the late hour of Monday where another three villagers of Apata Olosun near Babanla were whisked away.
These victims are identified as Amidu, Adamo and her female child, Zainab.
Oba Yusuf maintained that the fear of being kidnapped has made almost everyone ran for safety.
In another development, it was also reported that there was a sporadic gunshot at Oreke Oke-Igbo in Ifelodun local government area of the state yesterday night believing to be the handiwork of the suspected Kidnappers.
The affected rural dwellers however called on government and other security agencies to come to their rescue and restore normalcy.
