New NTA DG Promises Improved Productivity, Staff Welfare

‎ABUJA – New Director General of the Nigerian Television Authority, (NTA), Rotimi Pedro has vowed to make NTA a number one media contents house in the country.

‎Pedro stated this when in company of his management team received the in-house two labour unions; the Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ, and the Radio,Television and Theatre Workers Union, RATTAWU management teams at the NTA headquarters Abuja.

‎The Director General while responding to the unions’ congratulatory messages laced with many prayers ranging from staff welfare to improved productivity, said he was ready to carry everybody along and improve on what he met on ground.

‎Last week, President Bola Tinubu approved the appointment of Rotimi Pedro as the new Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA.

‎The development was announced in a statement by Segun Imohiosen Director, Information & Public Relations, Office of the Secretary to the government of the federation.
