El-Rufai Must Be Questioned On His Claim Of FG’s Ransom Payment – Baba-Ahmed

‎ABUJA – Labour Party (LP) vice presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Datti Baba-Ahmed has advised the Federal Government to question the former governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and be made to write statements to the police on his claim that the office of the National Security Adviser is paying bandits ransom.

‎Baba-Ahmed gave the advise on Tuesday during an interview on a television show.
‎
‎He emphasized that If the office of the National Security Adviser (NSA) would take this statement with levity, then Nuhu Ribadu was never a policeman and not a qualified lawyer.
‎
‎He noted that Nuhu Ribadu’s reaction about the denial of El-Rufai’s claims was not cogent enough.
‎
‎ Mallam Nasir El-Rufai had earlier on Sunday apperaed on the same TV show, alleging that the Federal Government and Kaduna State were paying a “monthly allowance” to bandits and sending “food to them in the name of non-kinetic”.
