JUST IN: Babanla Community Appreciates Governor’s Show Of Love To It’s People
The people of Babanla and environs in Ifelodun local government area of Kwara State have expressed their appreciation to the state governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq in company of heads of other security agencies in the state on their recent sympathy visit to the area.
In a statement personally signed by His Royal Highness, Oba of Babanla, Alhaji Aliyu Gboyega Alabi Yusuf Arojojoye the second and made available to Newsmonger, the people of Babanla acknowledges that the visit and several far-reaching actions already instituted to dislodge the bandits from their community and Kwara State at large have reassured the people in no small ways of government’s sincerity and commitment to the enduring peace and security in the area.
According to the release, “Your Excellency’s brief address to the people on that occasion equally helped to lighten the burden, pains, worries and fears inflicted on the people during the attack. I must also put on record our profound appreciation to Your Excellency on the directive to the Kwara State Social Investment Programme to immediately take inventories of all victims of the attack with a view to extending hands of assistance to them”
”All the foregoings are testaments of your administration’s commitment to the wellbeing of our people and peace and security of this community. For all the foregoing, the people of Babanla and environs will forever remain indebted to you. I wish to assure Your Excellency of our unalloyed cooperation and support to ensure the success of all Government’s efforts.” the statement said.
The statement also reminds the governor of the critical quick fix projects to restore normalcy to the life of the people, guarantee enduring peace and security of the areas and restore the community.
It however appreciates the governor for standing by them throughout the trying period.
