Ladoja Officially Nominated As 44th Olubadan

Former Governor of Oyo state, Oba Rashidi Ladoja has formally been nominated as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadan land by the Olubadan-In-Council.
The Balogun of Ibadan land, Oba Tajudeen Ajibola, who confirmed this to newsmen said the council’s unanimous decision was reached during a meeting held on Monday at the Olubadan Palace in Oke-Aremo, Ibadan North Local Government Area of the State.
Oba Ajibola said that although the nominee, Oba Ladoja, was not present at the meeting but all other members of the council signed the official nomination.
“We have all signed and nominated Oba Rashidi Ladoja as the new Olubadan of Ibadan land,” Oba Ajibola stated.
He added that it was up to Governor Seyi Makinde to decide final date for the coronation.
Under the traditional rotational system of succession in Ibadan land, Oba Rashidi Ladoja is next in line.
